@all beta testers,
under some circumstances this tool destroys some variables and/or types. :angry5:
Please make a backup of your files before passing them to the Beautifier.

Sorry - I should have made it clear. If this does happen to you and you don't have a backup, immediately look for the file xxx.pas.bak which is a copy of your original file (where xxx.pas) is the original file name. you can recover your file from here provided that you have not run the program again.

(Note this only applies if run from the PED, not in standa alone mode which does not replace the original file.)

I attach an update that addresses the bug mentioned by Rolf, but please let me know of any more

Please find attached latest version.

There are various bug fixes and improvements.

please delete all old files before installing in same place.

There are two new rule files, tabular and indent. Tabular is the default, but you can change this by putting the line

{# rules indent}

in your source and beautifying it. You only need to do this once. Your choice is remembered for all files. (It is assumed that you only want to beautify one way).

BTW PDF file not yet updated. This will be done before final release.

@all,
the new Beautifier is now intergrated into the AVRco system.
The well known Beautifier button can be used now to start this tool.
For experienced users the setup of this tool can be changed through the
Beautifier Setup menu.

now it is possible to switch between the old/previous beautifier and the new one.
Dialog "IDE/General Options", see below.

Kann es sein das der neue nicht mit .inc-Dateien umgehen kann? Dort werden dann alle Einzüge entfernt, alles steht dann untereinander...

bitte eine PM an Merlin posten.
Include Files sollten genauso behandelt werden wie PAS Files!
