Hi Miparo.

Good work :-).

A couple of minor (and I do mean minor) issues I noticed:

1) Delete key (forward key) still does not work.

2) When you CTRL click the mouse to find a function or procedure, the first click takes you to the definition in the interface of the appropriate unit (as it should) the second (on that definition) does nothing (it should take you to the definition in the implementation section) and the third click (again on the definition in the interface section) takes you to the definition in the the implementation section. So one extra click required.

3) When you use the Back arrow key it takes you back, but the forward key is still not implemented.

4) No key beyond end of line. Also back arrow does not go beyond begin of line to end of previous line - adding to the frustration of no key beyond EOL.

A little more important is

5) No global search implemented. When this is done it would be nice if it could search pas files in a directory, not just those open in the editor (or better all units in the project).

6) Still cannot change formatter.

Hello Merlin,
from minor issues to big issues after upgrading ped to XE10 this week to make it Win 10 compatible.
Many function do not work:
1. help system
2. jump back/to
3. and so on :(

The beauti is now in ped integrated and can format include files.

Hi Miparo.

I realise you are busy. My comments are just meant to help.

Personally I do not use the beauti. I would use the formatter. But for me, by far the most important is the search across multiple units. My projects have dozens of units and without that feature the new PED is, for me anyway, unusable.

The other points are irritants, rather than something that would stop me being able to use the new PED.

I will, of course, continue to try it out as it develops.

Hi Merlin,
new PED with 'Find' Ctrl+F and 'Find in files' Shift+Ctrl+F Dlg. Delphi like
1.Find in all project files - after first compile , require xx.u file
2.Find in all open files
3. search in directory(s)
All function search at time only *.pas and *.inc

New update Dlg
and so on ....

Hi Miparo.

Good work. I will test when next download comes. Ctrl Shift F is good news for me. In the current PED I often press this key combination by mistake an insert a function skeleton into the code! The options look excellent.

Regards

Hallo miparo,
