Hello Avra,

stimuli files will be put onto the list.
But enclosures, power supplies ?? There are many manufacturers here in Germany.
CFC and UML ????

@Tassilo,
a ModBus Server? Does make that sense?

Release Notes?

Hallo Gunter,

Quote

98. Adding CFC as an optional higher layer over pascal. For example, for Siemens S7 PLCs I have many IEC 61131-3 languages to choose from, but I prefer SCL (pascal derivate) on low level and CFC on high level. You can build a block (func or proc) in pascal, and it is represented in CFC as a BOX with inputs at left side and outputs on right side (take a look at attached image). Now you can visually connect inputs and outputs by simply drawing lines, and in online mode you see online values with ability to change them! This is a real productivity boost for bigger projects and simplifies maintenance (one picture is worth a thousand words).

My own request would be slightly different, and may actually be available.

I would like to add my own add-in, which could accept the current text file as a parameter, modify it, and reload the modified file into the standard IDE on return. The particular use I have in mind is to auto-build and maintain the code for my menu system. I would be writing the add-in myself (since it is only of use to me), but someone might like to write something similar for Avra (it seems a lot of work for Rolf???)

Regards

Hallo Manfred,

Quote

Gunter

@WalMo,

@Dave,

yes, an additional programming level will be very difficult. But what exactly do
you expect? A plugin interface?

Hallo Rolf,

"@Tassilo,

Ich meinte natürlich den Slave!! - Sorry

Tassilo

Yes. The Systems Administration gives the possibility, but I think that is looking pretty full now. I think Post Proc and DisAsm are free. But I would would like to be able to pass the currently active text file (is this 'WorkFile'?), and have it reload on return.

These options may become used in the future (as some did with the optimiser), so perhaps some reserved for 'User use', that would not be hijacked by future features of the compiler would be good. I think you have a few 'power users' who might like to implement their own (or even share) plug ins.

@Tassilo,
jetzt komme ich ins Schleudern. Sprechen wir lieber von Master und Slave.
Dann ist da wohl Modbus-Master gemeint??

@Dave,
Yes, I'm planning a better button bar on top of the IDE, re-arangeable, expandable
to two rows. Then the user can add private buttons with the same scriptings
as in the system admin.
