Hallo Gunther

Erst mal Danke für die schnelle Antwort.
Der ISP3 ist von 12/05. Seriennummer 13120501.
Betriebssytem Win 7 Pro.
Ich habe die Software ohne Programmer installiert und beim
erkennen des ISP3 vom System den Treiberordner von AvrCo angegeben.
Wie gesagt im Gerätemanager scheint alles in Ordnung zu sein.

USB Enumeration..

Hallo Gunter,

ich habe genau das gleiche Problemchen wie Micha. Upgrade auf Windows 7 32 Bit. ISP3 Profi Debug Programmer schon recht alt. In der Systemsteuerung ist der Programmer als funktionierend zu sehen. Trotzdem die Fehlermeldung USB Enummeration Error.

Wie ist die Lösung ?

Hi Thomas,

unfortunately there is no easy "bulletproof" solution.
But until now we were able to solve every Win7 problem.

I need more infos:

- what OS do you use? Win7/32 or Win7/64?
- what programmer do you use (exactly)?
- what is the production date (year) of the programmer?
- did you update an older OS to Win7 or is it a new installation
(including the E-LAB Software)?
- what E-LAB software did you install (AVRco or ICP_ISP.exe)?
- how old ist the software?

Hello, thanks for the fast answer..

I use Win7 Professional 64Bit on Intel I7 CPU
The programmer is ISP3-USB 2.0 ISP/UPP 181B7D36 [1.01]
24092010

New install of the OS.

AVRco Compiler Rev 4.99.00 Date 101005

In windows controlpanel i have a USB-unit called "ISP-3 Debug Std with driver 2.51.1.1 2010-03-09 Vendor: ELAB Computers" when the programmer is connected to a USB-port.
When i try to run the E-LAB ICP-ISP Programmer software it first says "USB Enumeration error" and "Programmer not found"

Hi Thomas,

what you reported looks perfectly OK.
I assume you already tried other USB ports?

Would it be possible to open a remote connection to you PC?
(makes only sense if you use an English Win7).
If "yes": I use TeamViewer for these purposes.

Edit:
another hint:
make sure that your .exe (AVRco.exe, AVRprog.exe) run in
"compatibility mode: XP Service Pack2".
