WLAN support in AVRco

Is there an interest of an SPI based WLAN driver for AVRco? This module has the same footprint and connections as the WIZ820io module. It is equipped with the brandnew Atmel ATWINC1500 WLAN module.

But how much does it cost the proposed module ? I mean the finished board with connector and antenna.
And which size ?

Hello Marco,

the size (32x14mm) can be seen in the ZIP file.
The price for the pure module at DigiKey is about €22
Our complete module will be about €30, but is not calculated yet.

Hallo Rolf,

Sie haben eine neue Abbildung eingestellt. Ist das Modul bereits verfügbar? Ich habe hier zur Zeit Wiz820io Module im Einsatz und würde gern das WLAN Modul gelegentlich testen.

Hallo rolf,

habe ich auf dem Layout/Schaltplan den Externen Antennen-Anschluss übersehen? Oder hat das Modul diesen nicht?
