@All

I am working on the AppWizzard.

Good news and bad news.

Bad news is the wizzard uses components written in Delphi 7 that are hard to update.

Good new is I have my own equivalent components or can replace by standard ones.

Bad news is that I do not have a working (or semi working) version of the wizzard that I can use to see where compnents should be placed.

Does any one have an old, working version of the wizzard that the can give me screen shots of the 16 pages so I can correctly place the new components?

Or send me the wizzard itself?

Thanks.

Hi Merlin,
If you need older AVRco înstall files:
I have several DVDs with a lot of AVRinstall and AVRupdate files.
Let me know if you need older installations !

I have been working on the AppWizzard.

I have had to make major changes so this is very much an alpha release. On the other hand the current version doesn't work so you lose nothing by overwriting with the attached version. (Unless, of course, you have a working version, in which case save it so you can restore it if you need to).

I am bound to have made a number of mistake so all feedback will be very much appreciated.

Major differences are:

1. You can actually get past the first page.
2. There is no longer a limit on the number of devices supported.
3. Visually there are many changes. This is (mainly) because the original version depended heavily on Thales components which are no longer supported. I will, however, be making further changes to make the app less cluttered.

So good luck to all.

My antivirus (Windows Defender) detected a trojan in the archive.. Could be a false positive, but who knows.

Virustotal only found one in 2 of 69 scanners. So seems to be a false positive.

Hi.

I have no idea. It is possible that it is because it contains an executable? The version had debug information in it so maybe that is an issue. Attached is a version without debug information. Let me know if that is any different, but I suspect not.

Anyway, there is no trojan in the zip file.

@All

I have managed to migrate the compiler to Delphi 10.2, but just like the AppWizzard I have had to replace Thales components. For those of you experienced in Delphi I have (amongst others) replaced the Thales IniFile component with a TMemIniFile (for speed). Unfortunately this is more sensitive to error in the dsc files than the Thales version. For example the pMega128 file contains the entry

Code
[controlbits]+

The Thales component ignores the superfluous '+' but TMemIniFile does not - meaning that the entire controlbits section is lost.

Please look out for similar issues - the compiler will alert you to issues.

When I release the beta version of the new compiler I will also release the corrected pMega128.dsc file and any others I find.
