Gunter,

Refering to the PPRO file.
I renamed the PPRO file and made a new file. No Read Only issues.
I compared the OLD and NEW PPRO files and noted the difference.

It would appear that making ALL of the below = False causes the ReadOnly issue.

UnusedVars=False
UnusedProcs=False
Warnings=False

These were changed by using the right click menu in the editor.
I have verified this numerous times.
Do a Ctrl+H and reload the project.

Hi Rolf,

Yes this makes a difference. If NO Warnings are enabled it does not come up in ReadOnly mode.

Still, why would turning OFF all warnings cause it to come up in ReadOnly mode? Enabling any one of the warnings stops the ReadOnly mode.

Hello Neil,

this can happen if the same project name exists in different TABs, mainly also in the project TAB.
This must be avoided because the TABs are only for "visual" purposes. On load time then there maybe a problem with protection and/or wrong file loading!
