XMega und LCDs

Hallo,

wer kennt alpa-num LCDs die mit 3.3Volt laufen und wer liefert diese?
4x16 oder 4x20

Morning Rolf,

I have seen on other forum's where people have used 5V LCD's on 3V supplies i.e. VDD=3V. Some tweaking of the contrast is required i.e. possibly even negative.
I have also looked but not tried at connecting a LCD with a 5V supply to a AVR with a 3V supply. Looking at most of the data sheets, a 3V level can be interpreted as a Logic high. Same style of thing you do with a SD card interface.

Und wie wäre es mit einem kleinen Stepup-Wandler, der aus den 3,3V -> 5V macht. Macht natürlich nur sinn, wenn man ekeinen lieferanten für 3,3V Dislay findet.

Hallo,

einige der Typen von Electronic Assembly (www.lcd-module.de) aus der DIP- und DOG-Serie arbeiten mit 3,3V. Beispielsweise das DIP204-4NLED. Im Programm z.B. bei Reichelt.

@Neil,
the logil levels are never the problem. My LCDs on my desktop here absolutely do not work with 3V3 regardless of the contrast voltage.

@ThomasW69,
das ganze ist zum Treibertest für den XMega gedacht. Hierfür eine separate Hardware zum erzeugen von 3V3 ist mir zu aufwendig.

@Thomas,
das DIP204-4NLED muss ich mir mal anschauen. Es sollte ein Standard Interface haben, ähnlich 44780.
Habe ich jetzt angeschaut. Leider auch nur 5V. Die restlichen sind entweder Grafik mit 3V3 oder reine 5V Typen. Sieht nicht gut aus.

die EA-DOGM Serie ist doch für 3V3.

z.B das EA DOGM162x-A mit 2 x 16 Zeichen

ja, so scheint es. Allerdings mag ich diese dünnen Beinchen nicht so sehr. Reichelt führt sie, aber ohne Angabe ob lagernd :devil:

Hallo Rolf,
diese Dinger sind halt für eine flache und direkte Platinenmonatge.
Für die Bastler gibt es ja Adapter.
Ich habe auch so eins aber mangels Zeit ....
