Hi All,
I'm seeking some advice regarding CE conformity.
My designs are only covered by the EMC directive. I know that we can issue a "certificate of conformity" to the EMC standards. As long as we have the so called "Technical File" and respect the EMC good practices, test is no mandatory (but it's better to do it) .
So my questions are:
1- Does anyone have examples of a "Technical file" ?
2- Does anyone know of a LAB (certified or not) that can conduct basic EMC testings without charging an arm and a leg?
The certified labs in my Country charge about 5K Euro for a product that as a value market of 50. In some cases is not worth it.
Regarding self testing: Anyone as experience? I know that we need a spectrum analyzer, and some other equipment.
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks
Joaquim
