Install Failed - v 4.99.40

it is a problem introduced when we switched from Delphi6 to Delphi2007. The downloaded file "AVRupdate.exe" seems to be protected as long the downloading PED is still avtive. So the execution of the update EXE from inside the PED seems to be forbidden. We have no idea what happens there. But we try to find a workaround. Also the newly raising message boxes with german button texts will be fixed to english.

just downloaded the latest version, same problems with the automatic install. After thinking it over, I suppose, that the fixes are in place from now on and that the new version 4.99.41 will be OK for future updates? So this update is the last "manual" one..?

If I need to recompile a project when the PED loads, when I click the OK button in the dialog 'Error in symbol table - recompile project', at least one (it can be more if I move the mouse) shadow appears that sits on top of everything. You can see it the attached image just above E-LAB.

It stays visible on all applications until I exit the PED.

It is a shadow from a hint message on the window behind the dialog box, and I think it is to do with files loading after the dialog box executes. I think if the dialog box displayed only after all files had loaded for the last time it would be OK.

meine PED hat heute das vorhandensein der Version 4.99.41 gemeldet und den Download gemanaged. Jedoch wurde die Installation danach nicht automatisch gestartet - ja ich kann das auch selber. Nur falls es interessiert ???

PS: ISP3 ist angekommen und wird wieder als Dongle erkannt - danke.
