Hallo zusammen.

Vielleicht kann mir jemand weiter helfen. Ich habe eine drehzahlgeregelte Pumpe, die ich von einem XMega aus ansteuern möchte. Die pumpe Selbst verfügt über einen 4-20mA eingang. ICh bräuchte dazu einen IC mit digitaler Schnittstelle (am besten SPI oder I2C), der mir diese 4-20mA erzeugt. Hat jemand damit Erfahrungen?

Hallo Thomas,

der XMega hat einen DAC. Das Erzeugen einer Gleichspannung ist also kein Problem.
Entweder danach ein OPV und ein Transistor als U/I-Wandler oder etwas robuster und industrietauglicher ein AM422/AM460/AM462 von Analog Microelectronics GmbH. Habe ich selbst aber noch nicht verwendet.

Hi Thomas,
I can't read German, so I'm not 100% on what you are asking but!
If you are looking for a AVR to 4..20mA solution? I used the MCP4922.
I made a board with four of these IC's and a Mega32, giving me 8 * 4..20mA channels (2 per IC).
They use I2C as the communications bus to the AVR.
The PCB communicated to the PC via a polled serial interface.
Hyperterminal emulating a PC Terminal was used to calibrate the channels and 0..100% (4..20mA)
