Hi all,

Has anyone used the 20 *2/4 Winstar OLED displays.
They are said to use a similar controller to the HD47780.
However reading the information the initialisation process needs extra commands to be sent.
And there are differences in the font tables that can be used.
It also allows some graphics control.

Is it possible to add the extra initialisation by using the initialisation procedure when starting code?
Is it possible to change the driver code easily?

Der an diesem Beitrag angefügte Anhang ist entweder nur im eingeloggten Zustand sichtbar oder die Berechtigung Deiner Benutzergruppe ist nicht ausreichend.

Hello Crusty,

look at the example AVR LCD7036i/p/s. In this example the display is also initialized manually.
It has a different controller, but you can see how a manually init works
This type of display I do not own, otherwise I can try it myself.
