Hi All,
These little displays are very common on E-bay and cheap. Attached photo of display.
I have been keen to reduce the size of my displays from the HD44780 and this seems to do the job.
In text mode these offer the same 4 * 40 characters as the HD44780.
Thanks to the links in E-Lab Pascal I have been able to write text out to my own Assembly code SPI routine.
For some reason I still can not get this module and display to work with the Native E_Lab SPI drivers.
I still have to write the Graphics mode handler.
If any one wants code a little basic at the moment leave a reply and I will post to the forum.
A similar module which can be addressed in all the modes available with the SSD1306 is at present refusing to wake up but time will get this one working as well.
