Hi at E-Lab,

My PC seems to have lost the ability to get online help when pressing F1 on a key word.

I am sure I saw something regarding this, but at the moment can not find the reference to it.

Perplexed Crusty :-/

Hello Crusty,

if you press F1 does the mouse cursor change to an "?"
If so then click with the mouse onto the keyword.
If you want avoid this then at first double click the word.
Then press F1. This should help.

Hi Rolf,
Thanks for quick reply.

Compiler Rev 5.04.15 date 12-11-19

if you press F1 does the mouse cursor change to an "?"
No change with mouse or trackpad "?"
If so then click with the mouse onto the keyword.

If you want avoid this then at first double click the word.
Then press F1. This should help.
No action happening with this

Almost seems like it is not opening the help files?

Hello Crusty,

the problem was a space or similar in the pathname of the help file.
Fixed now. New PED attached.

Hi Rolf,
As always, thanks for a quick fix.

Much appreciated, as I need the quick aids to memory, now my brain is getting old.

Best

:D
you are aware of the private notes file / function?
Not a replacement for the online help, but IMHO very usefull
to free the brain from seldom used trash.
