CalcFlashCheck_A

Hi,
I am trying to use CalcFlashCheck_A from the bootApplication of my XMega128A3U,
but I get error: "CalcFlashCheck_A" need the system function "boot_init".

If I try to add it, I get error because boot_init not admitted in BootApps...
Doing something wrong or bug ?

Regards,
Marco

Hello Marco,

A boot application doesn't know anything about the application.
So a FlashCheck for the application out of the boot is not applicable.

In a BootApp is there a way to use a CalcFlashCheck function of the Application area ?
I do not agree that a boot application doesn't know anything about the application;
the size and addresses of Application area are well known for every device, and are the only paramters neccessary to compute a CRC...

Hello Marco,

now I have implemented the "CalcFlashCheck_A" for XMega Boot Apps.
Not really complete tested, but it should work. Update at monday.
