when I install the latest version I get the following error messages:

then

I doubt if it is a problem, but thought you should know.

Hi,

I also found the latest update re-installed the programmer driver (although it was already).
But I got no error messages.
Maybe it's because I have set extended property rights in the file system (e.g. owenership set to me).
btw @rh:
0x80xxx points to a DPinst problem
Maybe you can set the DPinst call to "run as admin"?

Hello Gunter,

there is a new INF file because there is an additional programmer type now.
DPinst is not more used in the current installation because the installer now
supports device driver installation by itself.

But I don't have any idea what this error means or is caused from.

Hi,

maybe win10 64bit.
The 64bit version does not allow unsigned drivers.
I have the same error message here.
If I start with extended start options an disable driver signature (key 7), then I can install the driver.

HalloThomas,

I have the same problem in a new installation on win10, 64bit. I would be very greatful if you could explain what extended start options means. Is it 'abgesicherter Modus' in a German Win10?

Thank you again. Bernd

Hi

no, that's not the "abgesicherter Modus".
See e.g.
