Problem with Oled display

Hello,

I have a problem with function to clean display lcdclr which doesn't work properly with my Oled display 2x16 Winstar, the screen is not fully erased, also, sometime I have a display scratch with only points or squares on screen...Winstar manufacturer tell me it's a problem of timing, but no access with my AVR pascal compiler...But all is ok with a standard LCD display.

I use in compiler: LCDtype = 44780;
But datasheet of Winstar Oled gives:
IC: WS0010
Interface: 6800

May be not compliant with 44780 ?

Have you an idea ?

Vincent

Hi,

please post datasheet of the Display and source code either here, or via PM.

I can have a look at it.
But not immediately :-)

Hello UPI,

You have now the pdf...source code is very long, and not usefull I think as all is ok with a standard LCD, in fact the problem is LCDtype I think, but I don't find in compiler drivers documentation the differents LCDtype available...

Hi,

I asked for the source code for a reason.
There are many ways to connect such a display.
4Bit, 8Bit IO-Expander etc...

If it is a timing problem, it does not necessarily have to do with the AVRco driver.

Have you ever measured the signals with an oscilloscope and compared them with the datasheet? Especially with regard to the timing?

Hello,

With LCDtype = 0070 instead 44780, the function lcdclr works well with Oled...
