AVRco 6.0 Test

Hello Merlin, now I have installed the latest version of AVRco 6.0. When I create a new project
1. Project name
2. Dir
3. MyTest.pas
Then on Update -> Save -> Exit
And then I get a blank page and no choice of a processor.

Hallo Merlin, nun habe auch ich die neueste Version von AVRco 6.0 Installiert. Wenn ich ein neues Projekt erstelle
1. Projekt Name
2. Dir
3. MyTest.pas
Dann auf Update -> Save -> Exit
Und dann bekomme ich eine leere Seite und keine Auswahl von einen Processor.

Now I've loaded an existing project and lo and behold I can't compile?

Jetzt habe ich ein bestehendes Projekt geladen und siehe da ich kann nicht Compilieren ?

Hi Frank. Did you follow my advice and install the update by hand, or did you update via the PED?

Hello Merlin, I installed everything manually.
Uninstalled everything beforehand and then installed everything manually.
hp I work with Windows 10
PPS. The big install file is called AVRinst4, can we rename it to AVRinst6?

Vorher alles Deinstalliert und dann alles per Hand Installiert.
PS. ich Arbeite mit Windows 10
PPS. Die große Install Datei heißt AVRinst4 können wir die in AVRinst6 umbenennen?

No sorry. For the same reason the Rolf could not rename it to AVRInst5. The PED update looks for AVRInst4.

It looks like the full install is faulty. I will have to try and rebuild it.

In the meantime I will put a 6.0.1 version on the site to allow you to update. The version will have no new features.

Do not uninstall this time. Just apply the update.

I will post again when it is ready.

OK Frank. I have looked at the full install and it looks OK.

To help me can you right-click on the AVInst4.exe file and select properties. Click on the details page and tell me what is in the Product Version field. (Not sure what the names will be on a German machine but this is what it looks like on an English machine)

Then I am struggling. All I can suggest is that you exit the PED and try again. I once lost the icons like this, but they came back when I closed the program and restarted it. Don't reinstall again.
